Trackers
How to follow Ray Dalio's Bridgewater in your own brokerage account: the 13F, the Dalio Tracker, and what a filing can't show
How to follow Bridgewater's 13F in your own brokerage, and what a filing cannot show about Dalio.
I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. Bridgewater is the largest hedge fund in the world and one of the hardest to follow, because most of what it does never shows up in a filing. Here's what does, how the Dalio Tracker uses it, and where the name on the Tracker stops being accurate.
One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our disclaimer page.
What's public
Bridgewater Associates, LP, CIK 1350694 on EDGAR, files a Form 13F within 45 days after each quarter ends, listing its reportable US stock positions as of the quarter's last day. That's the public record. Bridgewater's famous strategies are built on bets about economies, interest rates, currencies, commodities, and countries, and most of that lives in instruments a 13F doesn't cover. So the filing shows you the US stock slice of a firm whose main business is elsewhere. Anyone answering "what is Bridgewater buying" is reading that slice, weeks after the quarter ended.
The name on the Tracker
Ray Dalio founded Bridgewater in 1975, handed his voting rights to the board, and stepped down as co-chief investment officer in September 2022. The Dalio Tracker carries his name because that's what people search for, but what it follows is the firm's filing, not Dalio's personal decisions, and he has no relationship with Autopilot. If what you actually want is Dalio's idea rather than Bridgewater's filing, that's a different Portfolio: The All Weather Portfolio on Autopilot: what Ray Dalio's idea is, what this version changes, and how following it works.
Tracking versus following
Tracking is reading the filing as a table on a free site. Following means the disclosed positions are held in your own brokerage account and updated after each filing. That's the Dalio Tracker. Pick the Portfolio, connect the brokerage you already use, allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to that account. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put. The Tracker is built by Autopilot Advisers from the public filing; its fact sheet shows the largest positions with a timestamp, lists the rebalance cadence as not disclosed, and publishes the live record of follower accounts since launch, gross and modeled net, with drawdown and a date. Your trade lags the firm's by the filing delay, and that's disclosed on the sheet.
What it costs
A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier runs from $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year; the fee that applies to you is in your agreement. Do the math at your own balance before you decide.
Frequently asked questions
Bridgewater Associates 13F
Bridgewater Associates, LP files Form 13F under CIK 1350694 on EDGAR within 45 days after each quarter ends, listing its US stock positions as of quarter end. Because the firm's main strategies run through instruments a 13F doesn't cover, the filing shows only the US stock slice. Autopilot's Dalio Tracker follows that filing after it posts and holds the disclosed positions in your own brokerage account.
Ray Dalio portfolio tracker
Autopilot's Dalio Tracker follows Bridgewater Associates' quarterly 13F, not Ray Dalio's personal trading, which isn't public; Dalio stepped down as co-chief investment officer in September 2022 and has no relationship with Autopilot. The Tracker is created and managed by Autopilot Advisers, LLC, runs in your own connected brokerage, and has a fact sheet with the largest positions and the live follower record.
How can I follow Ray Dalio's portfolio in my own brokerage?
Connect the brokerage you already use to Autopilot, choose the Dalio Tracker, and set an allocation. Autopilot Advisers, LLC has limited authority to send orders to that account; when the filing-based Portfolio changes, the orders go to your broker, your broker fills them, and your money stays there. If you want Dalio's All Weather idea rather than Bridgewater's filing, the All Weather Portfolio is the separate route.
What is Bridgewater buying?
Publicly, only what its most recent 13F shows: US stock positions as of the last quarter's end, filed up to 45 days later, and only the slice of the firm that trades in reportable US stocks. Nobody outside Bridgewater knows anything newer or broader. The Dalio Tracker follows that filing, and its fact sheet shows the Portfolio's largest positions with a timestamp.
Bridgewater portfolio tracker app
Autopilot's Dalio Tracker is the app version: it follows Bridgewater's public 13F and holds the disclosed positions in your own brokerage account, updating after each filing, rather than showing you a table. Managed by Autopilot Advisers, LLC; Bridgewater has no relationship with it.
