How to invest alongside Elon Musk's companies from your own brokerage account

I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. The honest problem with an Elon Musk portfolio is that most of what he runs isn't public. One Pilot on our platform built around that problem instead of pretending it away, and I think the approach is worth explaining even if you don't follow it.

What's public

Musk leads two public companies, and his stakes in them are disclosed through SEC filings, Form 4 for insider transactions and S-1 registration documents. The rest of what he runs is private. No filing, no ticker, no way to buy it in a brokerage account.

What the Portfolio follows

The Elon Index is a Portfolio published by EliteTrade.Club, run by Adam Garcia, and managed by Autopilot Advisers. Its description says the core of the Portfolio holds the two public companies Musk leads, tracked through Form 4 and S-1 disclosures, and the remainder holds their disclosed suppliers and infrastructure partners, rebalanced on announced capital spending, contract and product events. The logic in the description is that the private companies spend enormous sums, every dollar of that spending lands on a supplier, and the suppliers are public.

The honest limits

This is a thesis, not a filing tracker, and you should treat it that way. The supplier list depends on the Pilot's reading of announced spending and contracts, and announcements change. Concentrating in the companies around one person is concentrated risk in the ordinary sense. And none of it gets you the private companies.

Tracking versus following

Tracking means you read the positions somewhere. Plenty of sites parse the source and put it in a table, and nothing happens in your account.

Following means the positions are held in the brokerage account you already have, and stay updated. You pick the Portfolio, connect your brokerage, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.

What it costs

A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on if you follow more than one Portfolio. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.
