Bill Ackman's firm, Pershing Square, filed its latest 13F on August 14, 2026, for June 30. It lists 14 securities worth $19.5 billion. The biggest are Uber, Brookfield, Microsoft, Amazon, and Howard Hughes.

But that's not the whole story. In an August 12 letter, Pershing Square said it has since bought Intercontinental Exchange and Alcon. And Pershing Square Holdings, a fund it manages, says it exited Hertz in July.

Let me explain where to find the filing, what's in it, and what's changed since.

1) Who files it now

If you look up Pershing Square Capital Management on EDGAR, the firm that filed for years, you'll find a 13F notice instead of holdings. It says its holdings "are now included in the report of its public parent company."

That parent is Pershing Square Inc., which started trading on the NYSE under PS on April 29, 2026. It filed the June 30 13F, and Ackman signed it.

Ackman is the founder and CEO of Pershing Square Inc., per its 10-Q.

2) Every position in the June 30 13F

# | Company | Shares | Reported value | % of total
1 | Uber Technologies | 34,326,200 | $2,476,978,592 | 12.72%
2 | Brookfield Corporation | 57,481,047 | $2,448,117,792 | 12.58%
3 | Microsoft | 6,206,730 | $2,315,234,425 | 11.89%
4 | Amazon | 8,563,857 | $2,041,109,677 | 10.49%
5 | Howard Hughes Holdings | 27,852,064 | $1,991,144,055 | 10.23%
6 | Restaurant Brands International | 25,821,284 | $1,872,301,303 | 9.62%
7 | Meta Platforms | 3,196,062 | $1,800,309,764 | 9.25%
8 | Visa | 3,270,470 | $1,122,065,552 | 5.76%
9 | Mastercard | 2,124,646 | $1,091,218,186 | 5.61%
10 | S&P Global | 2,593,155 | $1,056,088,305 | 5.43%
11 | Netflix | 13,081,465 | $934,016,601 | 4.80%
12 | Pershing Square USA | 4,000,000 | $149,520,000 | 0.77%
13 | Seaport Entertainment Group | 5,023,780 | $133,632,548 | 0.69%
14 | Hertz Global Holdings | 14,991,599 | $33,955,972 | 0.17%
Values are as of June 30, 2026, and percentages are of the $19.5 billion total.

To put that into context, the top seven are about 77% of it. This is a concentrated portfolio.

Howard Hughes shows up on two lines in the filing. I added them together.

3) What changed since March 31

New:

- Netflix: 13,081,465 shares.
- Visa: 3,270,470 shares.
- S&P Global: 2,593,155 shares.
- Mastercard: 2,124,646 shares.
- Pershing Square USA: 4,000,000 shares. That's the firm's own closed-end fund, which listed in April.

The letter says the quarter included the $5 billion IPO of Pershing Square USA, and that it has deployed more than 95% of that money in fourteen investments, six of them new.

Added:

- Uber: 4,367,429 more shares.
- Restaurant Brands: 3,175,801 more.
- Microsoft: 552,652 more.
- Meta: 535,201 more.

Trimmed:

- Amazon: 2,888,124 fewer shares.
- Brookfield: 2,216,161 fewer.
- Hertz: 249,528 fewer.

Sold completely: Alphabet, both share classes.

Unchanged: Howard Hughes and Seaport Entertainment.

The March quarter was split across two filings, one from Capital Management and one from Pershing Square Inc., so I combined them to compare.

4) What's changed since June 30

The 13F stops at June 30.

In its August 12, 2026 letter to shareholders, Pershing Square said it "recently made new investments in Visa, Mastercard, Netflix, S&P Global, Intercontinental Exchange, and Alcon." The letter says Alcon and Intercontinental Exchange "were initiated subsequent to June 30, 2026." So neither is in the 13F.

Pershing Square Holdings is a fund Pershing Square manages. Its interim report says it exited Hertz in July 2026.

The letter's own portfolio list has 15 companies. That includes Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which trade over the counter and aren't in the 13F at all.

5) What a 13F can't tell you

A few things to keep in mind.

1. It's the firm. A 13F covers what a manager has discretion over, so this one includes what Pershing Square manages for its funds. It isn't Ackman's personal account. To put that into context, Pershing Square Inc.'s own balance sheet shows $1.8 billion in total assets, against $19.5 billion in the 13F.
2. It doesn't say when. 13Fs don't have a purchase date. They only have the ending date.
3. It leaves things out. Short positions, foreign shares, and over-the-counter stocks like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac don't show up.
4. It's late. A 13F can show up 45 days after the quarter ends.

6) The Ackman Tracker on Autopilot

Autopilot Advisers builds the Ackman Tracker from Pershing Square's public disclosures.

As of October 9, it holds 13 stocks: Amazon, Microsoft, Brookfield, Uber, Meta, Restaurant Brands, Howard Hughes, Visa, Mastercard, Intercontinental Exchange, S&P Global, Netflix, and Alcon.

That isn't the same list as the 13F. It adds Intercontinental Exchange and Alcon, and it doesn't hold Pershing Square USA, Seaport Entertainment, or Hertz. Check the Portfolio in the app for what it holds today.

The next 13F, for September 30, is due Monday, November 16, 2026.

7) How following it works

It's three steps. You connect the brokerage account you already have. You pick a Portfolio. You allocate the money.

You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to place trades. It can't move or withdraw your money. When the Portfolio changes, we send the orders and your broker fills them. The money stays in your account.

I want to be honest with you. A Portfolio built from public disclosures is always behind the manager's actual trades. Some Portfolios go up for years, some are flat for years, and some lose money. Research the person and the Portfolio before you put money in.

More trackers built from public filings are in Hedge fund and Wall Street Portfolios.

TLDR: Pershing Square's 13F for June 30, 2026, now filed by its public parent Pershing Square Inc., lists 14 securities worth $19.5 billion, led by Uber, Brookfield, Microsoft, Amazon, and Howard Hughes. New that quarter: Netflix, Visa, S&P Global, Mastercard, and Pershing Square USA. Gone: Alphabet. Since then, its August 12 letter disclosed new stakes in Intercontinental Exchange and Alcon, and its fund Pershing Square Holdings says it exited Hertz in July. The next 13F is due November 16, 2026.
