Devika Gehlaut's AGI Portfolio and Playbook on Autopilot

Devika Gehlaut's AGI Portfolio and Devika's Playbook on Autopilot, how a theme differs from a playbook, and how to follow them.

Chris Josephs7 min read

I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. Devika Gehlaut runs two Portfolios that sound similar and aren't.

One is a theme. The other is a playbook. That difference is worth a page, so here it is.

One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our disclaimer page.

1) The two Portfolios

Devika Gehlaut is an independent Pilot who creates and manages both.

The AGI Portfolio. The description says it holds companies tied to the AI build-out across compute, infrastructure and energy.

Devika's Playbook. The description calls it a mix of calculated risks and high-conviction bets in AI, semiconductors, fintech, and clean energy.

2) Theme versus playbook

For those unaware, a theme Portfolio holds everything that fits one idea. The AGI Portfolio is that: the physical layer of AI, meaning the chips, the data centers, and the power that runs them.

A playbook is looser. It's a manager's best ideas across several areas, with some deliberate risk-taking mixed in. That's what Devika's Playbook describes.

A theme tends to rise and fall with its theme. A playbook depends more on the person's judgment across different bets.

3) The overlap to watch

AI and semiconductors show up in both. If you follow the two together, some of your money may be buying the same companies twice.

That's fine if you want a heavier AI tilt. It's worth knowing if you thought the second one diversified the first. Compare positions in the app before you stack them.

Other takes on the AI build-out, and where they disagree, are in Is there an app that invests in AI data center and infrastructure stocks for me?.

4) The risk, said plainly

I want to be honest with you. AI infrastructure, semiconductors, and clean energy are all high-volatility areas, and they can fall together. Calculated risk is still risk.

Look at the worst stretch in each record before the best one, and size accordingly.

5) How following works

Pick a Portfolio, connect the brokerage you already use, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.

A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on for each Pilot you subscribe to. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.

TLDR: Devika Gehlaut's AGI Portfolio is a theme, the physical layer of AI. The Playbook is a mix of calculated risks and high-conviction bets across AI, chips, fintech, and clean energy. They overlap in AI and semiconductors, so check before following both.
