How to follow Chris Camillo's disclosed picks in your own brokerage account
How to follow Chris Camillo's disclosed picks in your own brokerage account.
I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. Chris Camillo isn't a hedge fund, so there's no 13F to read. What there is instead is a guy who says what he's buying, out loud, constantly. That turns out to be followable, and it works differently from a filings tracker.
One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our disclaimer page.
What's public
Camillo built his reputation on what he calls social arbitrage, spotting consumer trends on social media before Wall Street prices them. He got written up in Jack Schwager's Unknown Market Wizards and wrote a book called Laughing at Wall Street. He isn't an institutional manager, so no 13F exists. His disclosure is his own commentary: posts on X, interviews, and his podcast Dumb Money Live.
What the Portfolio follows
The Chris Camillo Tracker is a Portfolio published by a Pilot, Pepe Nieves, and managed by Autopilot Advisers. Its description says it is based on Camillo's posts on X, his interviews, and Dumb Money Live, where he shares what he's buying, selling and holding, and that position sizing reflects the conviction in his commentary and his newest move on each holding.
The honest limits
A commentary-sourced Portfolio has a different failure mode from a filings tracker. There's no legal filing standard behind it, so it depends on the Pilot's reading of what Camillo said and meant. In exchange you lose the 45-day filing delay, because a post is public the moment it's posted. Decide which trade-off you actually want before you allocate, and read the Portfolio's description in the app first.
Tracking versus following
Tracking means you read the positions somewhere. Plenty of sites parse the source and put it in a table, and nothing happens in your account.
Following means the positions are held in the brokerage account you already have, and stay updated. You pick the Portfolio, connect your brokerage, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.
What it costs
A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on if you follow more than one Portfolio. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.
