Every investor and fund tracker on Autopilot, and what each one is built from.

Chris Josephs7 min read

I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. This is the index page for the trackers. The thing to sort on isn't the name, it's the source, because the source determines the delay and the failure mode. So that's how I've grouped them.

One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our disclaimer page.

Built on quarterly 13F filings

These follow an institutional manager's public filing. The filing can post 45 or more days after the quarter ends, so every one of them is behind by that much, and none of them include shorts, cash, prices or anything outside US-listed stock.

Berkshire Hathaway, Citadel, Point72, Pershing Square, Bridgewater, Renaissance, Thiel Macro, Altimeter, Atreides, Sequoia, Thrive Capital, TCI, the Harvard endowment, Appaloosa and NVIDIA's own corporate holdings.

One caution that applies to the venture firms in that list: a 13F shows public-company positions, not the venture book, and the venture book is what people usually mean.

Built on public commentary

These follow what somebody says in public rather than what they file. Faster, looser, and dependent on the Pilot's interpretation.

Michael Burry, Chris Camillo, Dave Portnoy and Tom Lee.

There's also the Stan.ai Portfolio, which is a model built on Druckenmiller's method rather than a tracker of his filings, and that distinction matters enough that it has its own page.

Built on aggregates and other filings

Rather than one manager, these aggregate across many or use a different form.

The Hedge Fund Conviction Index aggregates fund disclosures with analyst ratings. Top Institutional Mega Cap follows the largest institutional positions by value. The CEO Tracker is built on Form 4 insider filings, which arrive within about two business days rather than 45. Activist All-Stars is built around 13D activist situations.

What every tracker has in common

It isn't the fund's account. It doesn't use anything nonpublic, it doesn't reproduce exact positions or timing, and the Pilot or adviser decides what can responsibly be taken from the source.

If the manager you want isn't here, their filings are still public on EDGAR and you can follow them by hand. Where to find them is in The investors people ask us to track.

How following works

You pick the Portfolio, connect the brokerage you already use, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.

A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on if you follow more than one Portfolio. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.

Frequently asked questions

hedge fund tracker app

Autopilot publishes trackers built on public filings and on public commentary, held in the brokerage account you already have. Sort them by source, because that decides the delay and the failure mode.

superinvestor portfolio tracker

Trackers exist for a range of institutional managers, built from their quarterly 13F filings, plus commentary-based Portfolios for investors who don't file.

smart money tracker app

The filings-based ones lag by 45 or more days, which is the legal filing window. The commentary-based ones are faster and depend on interpretation. Neither is faster than the source.

Which hedge funds can I follow on Autopilot?

Several, through trackers built on their public filings. The app is the accurate list at any given date, and managers without a Portfolio still file publicly on EDGAR.

Autopilot does not hold client assets. All investments are held at the brokerage firm you select and connect to Autopilot. Your brokerage firm is responsible for trade execution, custody, and reporting. Autopilot is not responsible for your broker-dealer’s services, fees, or execution quality.

Autopilot’s services depend on technology systems, third-party APIs, and internet connectivity. System outages, API disruptions, or connectivity issues may temporarily affect service availability or trade execution timing.

Client account holdings are designed to track the Portfolio you’ve selected, but your actual holdings and performance may differ from the Portfolio due to execution timing, market conditions, brokerage capacity constraints, fractional share availability, and other factors outside Autopilot’s control.

For Portfolios inspired by publicly disclosed trading activity, there may be a delay between when a Pilot executes a trade and when that trade becomes publicly available and is incorporated into the Portfolio. This timing delay may affect the suitability or performance of trades when executed in client accounts.

The funds, firms and individuals described are not affiliated with Autopilot, do not manage these Portfolios, and have not endorsed them. Tracker Portfolios are created and managed by Autopilot Advisers, LLC, or published by independent Pilots and managed by Autopilot Advisers, from public filings and public statements. Filing delays mean client trades occur after positions become public. Fee amounts are quoted from Form CRS dated February 2026 and may change.
