Is there an app that invests in humanoid robotics stocks for me?
Is there an app that invests in humanoid robotics stocks for me?.
I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. The problem with investing in humanoid robots is that the companies everybody wants to own are private. The Portfolios here are built around that problem rather than around the headline, which is the interesting part.
One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our disclaimer page.
What the theme is
Humanoid robotics is a build-out, not a product category yet. What exists publicly is the supply chain: motion control, machine vision, sensing, autonomous systems and industrial automation infrastructure, plus the established robotics companies that already sell into factories.
One Portfolio description on our platform makes the point bluntly: almost nobody who gets paid for robotics has robot in the name, the companies people want to own are private, and many of the parts that make a robot move are built overseas.
The Portfolios on Autopilot, and what each says it does
Humanoid & Next-Gen Robotics, from Jonathan Bulmer, is described as a rules-based, pure-play tilted index targeting the bottlenecks and enabling systems behind humanoid robotics, selected and weighted by revenue exposure, industry relevance, market cap, liquidity and each company's role in the chain, with full reconstitution quarterly. Its description contrasts this with broad robotics funds that it says are diluted with semiconductor and general technology companies.
Physical AI & Robotics, from CV Research, is described as starting from the physical machine and working backward: what a robot needs to sense, think and move, who makes that part, and whether an American investor can own it. The description says every candidate is tested against its own annual and quarterly filings rather than its investor deck, because a design win in a press release is not revenue, and that every position has a falsifier defined before entry.
Robotic Revolution, from Dynamic Wealth Solutions, is described as investing across the companies enabling the shift to automation, from chips and sensors through software, industrial equipment and real-world automation.
Why a Portfolio rather than one stock
Buying one company in a theme is a bet on that company. Themes usually play out across a supply chain, and the winner at the start often isn't the winner at the end. A Portfolio spreads the bet across the chain and keeps it current as the Pilot's view changes.
That doesn't make it safer in the sense people mean. Everything in one theme moves together, so a theme Portfolio is closer to one position than to a diversified portfolio, and should be sized that way.
The risk, said plainly
A build-out thesis depends on capital spending continuing, and spending can slow for reasons that have nothing to do with the technology being right.
These are also narrow. Motion control, machine vision and industrial automation companies correlate hard, so the position count overstates the diversification.
And the timeline is genuinely unknown. Being right about humanoid robots and early by five years produces the same account statement as being wrong, for five years.
How following works
You pick the Portfolio, connect the brokerage you already use, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.
A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on if you follow more than one Portfolio. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an app that invests in humanoid robot stocks for me?
Autopilot has several robotics Portfolios published by independent Pilots, held in the brokerage account you already have. They own the public supply chain, since the pure-play humanoid companies are largely private.

Three different approaches: a rules-based index reconstituted quarterly, a research portfolio built backward from the physical machine and tested against filings, and a broader automation portfolio.

How do I invest in humanoid robots?
Through the public supply chain, because the leading humanoid companies are private. That means motion control, machine vision, sensing and automation infrastructure rather than robot makers.
