Antonio Marrazzo's Argentina's Ascent on Autopilot
Argentina's Ascent, Antonio Marrazzo's single-country Portfolio on Autopilot, the thesis behind it, and how to follow it.
I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. Antonio Marrazzo runs one Portfolio on Autopilot, and it's one of the most specific bets on the platform: a single country's recovery.
Here's the thesis, how it's built, and what it depends on.
One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our disclaimer page.
1) Who Antonio is
Antonio Marrazzo is an independent Pilot who creates and manages Argentina's Ascent. The description says Antonio turns data and AI into systematic investment strategies through quantitative research, and mentions a background in Argentine markets.
2) The thesis
The description argues Argentina is moving from crisis to structural growth, driven by three things at once: an energy boom, falling inflation, and the return of private credit.
As Vaca Muerta, the country's big shale oil and gas formation, expands and new infrastructure opens up exports, energy brings in dollars. Falling inflation lets banks shift toward lending. Industrial and infrastructure companies benefit from rising investment. The Portfolio combines energy producers, utilities, financials, and select growth companies to capture both.
3) How it's built
Antonio uses proprietary models from LexFi as part of the construction process. The description says they combine macro signals, company fundamentals, quantitative indicators, and risk limits, with company-level insight drawn from financial statements, earnings reports, and analyst estimates.
The stated goal is to find mispriced leaders early. The models are tools. Antonio makes the decisions.
4) What it depends on
I want to be honest with you. Argentina has a long history of economic crises, high inflation, and currency swings. This thesis needs the recovery to continue. If it stalls, the Portfolio can fall hard, and its holdings tend to fall together.
It's compared with the other single-country Portfolio in Is there an app that invests in Argentina or Canada stocks for me?.
5) Who it might suit
Somebody who has a view on Argentina, understands they're concentrating in one economy, and can size it as one small part of a bigger plan.
It isn't a core holding for most people.
6) How following works
Pick the Portfolio, connect the brokerage you already use, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.
A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on for each Pilot you subscribe to. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.
TLDR: Argentina's Ascent is Antonio Marrazzo's single-country Portfolio, betting on Argentina's recovery through energy, financials, utilities, and infrastructure, built with models from LexFi. It carries Argentina's political and currency risk, so size it like the concentrated bet it is.
