Is there an app that invests in Argentina or Canada stocks for me? The single-country Portfolios

The single-country Portfolios on Autopilot, Argentina's Ascent and Team Canada Fund, the risks of one country, and how to follow one.

I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. Most people's portfolios are mostly American companies, whether they meant that or not. A single-country Portfolio is a deliberate bet on one other economy.

There are two I want to describe, Argentina and Canada. They're very different bets. Here's each one, and what comes with putting a country in a Portfolio.

One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our disclaimer page.

1) What a single-country Portfolio is

For those unaware, a single-country Portfolio concentrates on companies tied to one national economy. That gives you exposure to the country's growth, and also to its politics, its currency, and its central bank, all at once.

That last part is the one people skip. When you own one country, an election, a currency slide, or a policy change can move the whole Portfolio together.

2) Argentina's Ascent

Argentina's Ascent is created and managed by Antonio Marrazzo, an independent Pilot. The description mentions a background in Argentine markets.

The thesis is a country moving from crisis toward growth. It focuses on energy, financials, infrastructure, and industrials, and it names two drivers: the expansion of Vaca Muerta, Argentina's big shale oil and gas formation, and the return of normal credit markets. The description says construction uses proprietary models from LexFi that combine macro signals, company fundamentals, quantitative indicators, and risk limits. It's covered in Antonio Marrazzo's Argentina's Ascent on Autopilot.

3) What the Argentina bet depends on

I want to be honest with you. Argentina has a long history of economic crises, high inflation, and currency swings. This thesis depends on the recovery continuing. If it stalls, a Portfolio built on it can fall hard, and what's in it tends to fall together.

That's not a reason to avoid it. It's a reason to size it like the bet it is.

4) Team Canada Fund

Team Canada Fund is created and managed by Eversmere, an independent Pilot. It's a very different kind of country Portfolio.

Its description calls it a balanced fund built on the foundations of the Canadian economy: market leaders in financials, telecommunications, infrastructure, and resources, equal-weighted, aiming for both growth and income. Eversmere says the process runs on fundamental business analysis and dividend sustainability, not quantitative trading signals, with things like balance sheet strength, free cash flow, payout ratios, and interest rate trends feeding in. Eversmere's other Portfolios are in Eversmere's Portfolios on Autopilot.

5) What the Canada bet depends on

Canada's stock market leans heavily on banks, energy, and resources. So a Canada Portfolio is partly a bet on those sectors, on commodity prices, and on the Canadian dollar against the US dollar.

A dividend-focused Portfolio can still fall, and a dividend can be cut. Read the worst stretch in the record before you follow it.

6) How following works

Pick a Portfolio, connect the brokerage you already use, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.

A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on for each Pilot you subscribe to. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.

TLDR: Autopilot has two single-country Portfolios from independent Pilots. Argentina's Ascent is a concentrated bet on Argentina's recovery through energy, financials and infrastructure. Team Canada Fund is an equal-weighted, income-minded Portfolio of Canadian market leaders. Both carry that country's political and currency risk.
