Invested's Portfolios on Autopilot: AltIndex AI Top 10, Reddit's Favorites, and the rest

Invested's four Portfolios on Autopilot built on AltIndex alternative data, including Reddit's Favorites, and how to follow them.

I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. Invested runs four Portfolios, and all four are built on the same unusual kind of data.

Not earnings. Not price charts. Things like hiring, app downloads, and web traffic. Let me explain how that works.

One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our disclaimer page.

1) The data behind all four

Invested is an independent Pilot. It creates and manages all four Portfolios.

Every one of them is built on data from AltIndex, an alternative data company. Per the descriptions, AltIndex scores stocks on four areas: audience, meaning social follower growth; employment, meaning job postings and employee sentiment; customers, meaning web traffic, app downloads, and online sentiment; and fundamentals.

AltIndex calls the combined result an AI Score. That's AltIndex's own scoring model, not Autopilot's.

2) AltIndex AI Top 10

The 10 highest-scoring stocks, selected monthly. The description says the score is meant to catch signals that show up before earnings do.

An early signal isn't a sure one. That's what the record is for.

3) Hyper-Hiring Growth

The 10 companies growing their job postings fastest, filtered for quality and for hiring that holds up over several months rather than one spike. Equal weight, rebalanced monthly.

The thesis, per the description, is that companies hiring hard usually have contracts, budgets, and products in the pipeline. It's a clever idea. It's also worth remembering that companies sometimes hire right up until they stop.

4) Robotics Infra

The 10 top-scoring companies supplying robotics: power, critical metals, chips, and automation hardware, with caps that keep it spread across those areas. The description argues the durable business is in what every robot needs, more than in the robot makers themselves.

Other robotics Portfolios are compared in Is there an app that invests in humanoid robotics stocks for me?.

5) Reddit's Favorites

Small and mid-sized companies gaining attention on the big investing subreddits, filtered by the AltIndex score so it isn't pure hype. Ten equal-weight positions, rebalanced monthly. The case for and against it is in Is there an app that follows what Reddit is buying?.

6) What to check before you follow

I want to be honest with you. Alternative data can spot things early, and it can also be noisy. A signal that worked for a while can stop working once enough people use it.

All four hold 10 stocks, which is concentrated. Look at the worst stretch in each record, and check for overlap if you follow more than one.

7) How following works

Pick one, connect the brokerage you already use, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.

A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on for each Pilot you subscribe to. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.

TLDR: Invested runs four 10-stock Portfolios built on AltIndex's alternative data: a top-scores Portfolio, a fast-hiring one, a robotics supply chain one, and a Reddit one filtered for substance. Clever data, concentrated Portfolios, so size them with care.
