Michael's Flagship Fund: what Michael Sikand runs in it and how to follow it
How Michael Sikand broadened Michael's Flagship Fund from a memory-stock bet into three layers, and how to follow it.
I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. Most of Michael Sikand's Portfolios are built to be loud: concentrated, high risk, and the descriptions say so. Michael's Flagship is the exception.
It started as one of the loud ones and got deliberately quieter. Here's how.
One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our disclaimer page.
1) Where it came from
Michael's Flagship Fund is created and managed by Michael Sikand, an independent Pilot.
The description says it began as a very concentrated bet on memory stocks. After that, Michael broadened it into something built for a longer horizon.
That's a real change in character, and I'd rather you know about it than find it in the record. The broadened version is the one described in the app, not the original bet.
2) How it's built
The description lays out three layers.
The core, about half, sits in the largest technology platforms, the companies funding most of the AI build-out.
Around that are what the description calls steadier companies in other parts of the economy. The sectors named include gaming, autonomy, healthcare, power grids, and defense. The description calls them ballast with their own growth stories.
And then there's a smaller, higher-risk sleeve tied to specific parts of the AI build-out: optical interconnect, AI power demand, and newer cloud providers.
I don't reprint holdings on these pages, because they change and this page doesn't. What it holds on any given day is in the app, with a date on it.
3) What that structure means for you
For those unaware, a big core in the largest tech companies means this Portfolio will often move with the broad market's biggest names. If you already own an index fund, you already own a lot of those companies.
That's not a reason to skip it. It's a reason to check the overlap before you allocate, so you know how much of the same bet you're adding.
The sleeve is where the volatility lives. Small in size, big in swing.
4) How it relates to Michael's other Portfolios
Michael runs several other Portfolios that are narrower and higher risk by design, and their descriptions say so. Those are on Michael Sikand's Portfolios on Autopilot.
If you like Michael's thinking but not the risk level of the others, the Flagship is the one built for that. If you want the high-conviction calls, those are in the others.
5) What to check before you follow
I want to be honest with you. A story about how a Portfolio started tells you nothing about how it'll do next. Some Portfolios go up for years. Some are flat for years.
Read the worst stretch in the record. Check how much it overlaps with what you already own. Then decide how much of your money belongs in it.
Do not stop at the stocks. Read the Portfolio.
6) How following works
Pick the Portfolio, connect the brokerage you already use, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.
A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on for each Pilot you subscribe to. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.
TLDR: Michael's Flagship started as a concentrated memory-stock bet and was broadened into a three-layer Portfolio: a big-tech core, steadier companies across other sectors, and a small high-risk AI sleeve. It's the calmest of Michael's Portfolios by design. Check the overlap with anything you already own.
