AI Portfolios
Rallies' AI Arena, explained: what Rallies publishes about each trade, and how following on Autopilot works
What Rallies' AI Arena publishes about each trade, which Arena Portfolios you can follow on Autopilot, and why the numbers differ.
I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of Autopilot. Rallies runs something unusual. Its AI Arena puts models from several labs side by side and publishes the reasoning behind their trades.
Several of those Portfolios are on Autopilot, where real accounts follow them. Here's what the Arena shows, and how following here works.
One thing first, because we're an SEC-registered investment adviser and I have to say it. Autopilot is the app. The actual investment advice comes from Autopilot Advisers, LLC. If you want the full legal version of anything in here, it's on our legal page.
1) What the Arena is
Rallies describes itself as an AI research platform for investors. The Arena is where Rallies runs stock portfolios built with different AI models side by side, with their trades, positions, and reasoning published on Rallies' site.
The stock Arena lists portfolios built with models from several labs, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, and Meta, plus two Rallies built itself, AI Hedge Fund and AI Skeptic.
2) The reasoning it publishes
For those unaware, this is the unusual part. Rallies publishes a written rationale for each decision, including decisions to hold, so you can read why a name was added or trimmed.
The reasoning is worth reading, but it isn't evidence. A model can explain a bad trade as confidently as a good one, so judge the record.
3) Which Arena Portfolios you can follow on Autopilot
Seven: ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, AI Hedge Fund, Muse, and AI Skeptic. Rallies creates and manages each one as an independent Pilot, and real accounts follow them in their own brokerages.
AI Skeptic is the contrarian one. Its description on Autopilot says it tries to reverse the frontier models' thinking. The others are covered in Rallies' AI Arena on Autopilot, Rallies' AI Hedge Fund Portfolio, and Muse on Autopilot.
4) Why the numbers differ
The performance chart in the Autopilot app starts when each Portfolio was added to Autopilot, and it's calculated from actual client accounts. Rallies' own site tracks its Arena portfolios on its own basis. So the figures won't match.
When you're deciding whether to follow, the app's performance chart is the one that describes what following here has actually looked like. Your own account can still differ, for the reasons in Why your returns won't match the Pilot's.
5) How following works
Pick a Portfolio, connect the brokerage you already use, and allocate money. You give Autopilot Advisers limited authority to send orders to the account you already have. When the Portfolio changes, we send them and your broker fills them. The money stays put.
A flat cash subscription, not a percentage of your balance. Per our Form CRS dated February 2026, Basic Tier has no Base Advisory and Licensing Fee, and Premium Tier is $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. Pilot subscriptions are separate and add on for each Pilot you subscribe to. Because it's a flat dollar amount, it's a bigger share of a small account than a big one, so do the math at your balance.
TLDR: Rallies' AI Arena runs portfolios built with models from several AI labs side by side and publishes the reasoning behind each trade. Seven of them are Portfolios on Autopilot, followed by real accounts: ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, AI Hedge Fund, Muse, and AI Skeptic. The app's performance chart starts when each joined Autopilot, so it won't match Rallies' site.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Rallies AI Arena?
The part of Rallies' research platform where Rallies runs stock portfolios built with models from several labs side by side, with trades, positions, and written reasoning published on Rallies' site. Seven Arena Portfolios are on Autopilot, created and managed by Rallies as an independent Pilot and followed by real accounts.
Can I see why an AI stock portfolio made a trade?
For Rallies' Arena portfolios, yes: Rallies publishes a written rationale for each decision on its own site, including holds. Treat it as context, not evidence, since a model can explain a bad trade as confidently as a good one. The performance chart in the Autopilot app is the better test.
Why are Rallies Portfolio returns different on Autopilot?
The Autopilot performance chart starts when each Portfolio was added to Autopilot and is calculated from actual client accounts, while Rallies' site tracks its Arena portfolios on its own basis. So the figures differ. Your own account can differ too, because of timing, account size, and fractional shares.

Autopilot’s services depend on technology systems, third-party APIs, and internet connectivity. System outages, API disruptions, or connectivity issues may temporarily affect service availability or trade execution timing.
Client account holdings are designed to track the Portfolio you’ve selected, but your actual holdings and performance may differ from the Portfolio due to execution timing, market conditions, brokerage capacity constraints, fractional share availability, and other factors outside Autopilot’s control.
For Portfolios inspired by publicly disclosed trading activity, there may be a delay between when a Pilot executes a trade and when that trade becomes publicly available and is incorporated into the Portfolio. This timing delay may affect the suitability or performance of trades when executed in client accounts.
Third-Party Pilot Portfolios are created and managed by independent third parties who are not affiliated with Autopilot, are not acting as your investment adviser, and owe you no fiduciary duty. Third-Party Pilots receive a share of the fees attributable to their Portfolios, which creates conflicts of interest for them and for Autopilot, and they may trade the same securities their Portfolios hold.
